After West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee claimed that the BJP would ban fish and eggs in the state if it came to power, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "Assam has a BJP government; it hasn't banned fish there." He also challenged Mamata Banerjee for a fish-eating contest and said, "I will eat 1 kg more fish than you."
