A new report by adelphi Global has projected that Indians are set to lose 22.5 days of work each year due to extreme heat, signalling the economic impact of climate change. Additionally, India is likely to see 183-230 days annually with temperatures exceeding 30°C. The agriculture and construction sectors are estimated to see the biggest loss of working hours.
