Karnataka orders probe into tiger death, elephant tusk poaching

Karnataka Environment Minister Ramalinga Reddy ordered a probe into a tiger's death at Bandipur Tiger Reserve and poaching of elephant tusks in Karadikallu Gudda. He formed a Special Investigation Team, mandated weekly reports, and directed intensive field inspections across the state, warning of disciplinary action if negligence is found among forest staff.
