India's GDP growth to slow sharply to 6.4% in FY25

India's real GDP has been estimated to grow by 6.4% in FY 2024-25 compared to 8.2% in FY 2023-24, the first advance estimates of annual GDP for FY 2024-25 show. The latest GDP estimates are at the lowest level in four years, since the COVID-19 pandemic. Nominal GDP witnessed a growth rate of 9.7% in FY 2024-25.

7 cases of HMPV reported in India

A total of seven cases of HMPV have been reported in India till Tuesday. The two latest cases were detected in Maharashtra's Nagpur and the patients are aged 13 years and 7 years, a health official said. The first two cases were detected in Bengaluru on Monday, one case was found in Gujarat and two in Tamil Nadu.

At least 36 killed after 7.1-magnitude earthquake in Tibet

At least 36 people have been killed after a 7.1-magnitude earthquake hit Tibet on Tuesday morning. Video footage has surfaced showing damaged buildings and crumbled shop fronts in Tibet, with debris spilling out onto roads. The tremors were also felt in parts of India, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Nepal.

7 earthquakes strike Tibet within 2 hours, tremors felt in India

As many as seven earthquakes have struck Tibet within two hours, with tremors being felt in several parts of India. The first earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale hit Tibet at 5.41 am. It was followed by a massive 7.1-magnitude earthquake at 6.35 am. Five earthquakes followed the 7.1-magnitude earthquake in the subsequent hour.

A massive earthquake measuring 7.1 on the Richter scale struck Tibet, with tremors being felt in various parts of India, including Delhi-NCR, Bihar, West Bengal and Assam. Tremors were also felt in neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. The extent of damage or any casualties is yet to be determined.

In the US, flu, COVID-19, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and norovirus are making their winter rounds. In the UK, meanwhile, NHS leaders have also issued a warning over increase in cases of the four viral infections.

Deb was seen nudging Bruce to stand closer to Kamala, after which the latter jokingly said, "It's okay, I won't bite." Later Kamala exchanged handshake with Deb and extended her hand towards Bruce, which he refused to shake.

A leopard spotted a week ago on the campus remains elusive. Trainees have been asked to move in groups of over 5 and refrain from sitting on benches.

The apartment is on the seventh floor of an under-construction tower of D'Decor Twenty, reports said. The per-square-foot price of the apartment, spread over 5,512 square feet, is over ₹87,000.
