T rex was warm-blooded, had human-like temperature: Study

Using chemical clues in Tyrannosaurus rex (T rex) teeth, scientists found that the predator was warm-blooded, with a body temperature close to that of a person. The chemical makeup of enamel in three T rex teeth unearthed in Montana indicated a body temperature of 97.3°F (36.3°C), plus or minus 4.5°F (2.5°C). For humans, the average body temperature is 98.6°F (37°C).
