Musk's Starlink reapplies in India for direct-to-mobile satellite service: Report

Elon Musk's Starlink has reapplied to the Indian space regulator to operate its Gen 2 satellite network. The constellation of nearly 30,000 satellites features advanced capabilities, including direct-to-device (D2D) connectivity, which could allow mobile phones to connect directly to satellites. IN-SPACe had rejected an earlier application due to non-conformity of certain features.
