AAP donations fall 68%; ex-MP who joined BJP gave ₹5 cr of ₹12 cr total

AAP received ₹12.10 crore in donations in 2025-26, down 68% from ₹38.10 crore previous year, its latest EC filing showed. Nearly 83% of the party's contributions came from Prudent Electoral Trust and Trident Limited. Trident, founded by former AAP Rajya Sabha MP Rajinder Gupta, made a ₹5-crore contribution when Gupta was still with AAP. He later joined BJP in April.
