Why are global investors losing interest in India’s stock market?

India's stock market is losing appeal among some global investors, with Reed Capital Partners recently exiting its Indian portfolio. CIO Gerald Gan said "there isn't much going on for a good India story," citing weak corporate earnings and a lack of artificial intelligence (AI) investment opportunities. Foreign investors' ownership of NSE-listed companies has consequently fallen to a 17-year low.
