A Right to Information (RTI) query has uncovered that only 23 pubs and discotheques in Pune are officially authorized. This revelation came from a query filed by advocate Sameer Shaikh. A discotheque license is required if any establishment has a dance floor area. They can operate from 11:30 am to 1:30 am.
