Often referred to as the 'red planet', Mars is not entirely red, NASA's Perseverance Rover has found. As it arrived at Mars' Jezero crater, it spotted volcanic rocks that are green, scientists said. These rocks are composed of "large grains of olivine, the muddier less-gemlike version of peridot that tints so many of Hawaii's beaches dark green", NASA stated.
