Hindu groups in Maharashtra's Pune and Karnataka's Bengaluru protested outside Lenskart stores in the cities against the startup banning tilak and bindi at work while allowing hijab. Social media users claimed that the protesting groups even convinced employees at a Lenskart store to down their shutters. Another video showed protestors encouraging Lenskart employees to wear tilak while at work.
