West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday announced that fish-and-rice meals would be provided for ₹5 at 400 dedicated canteens across the state. He stated that subsidised meals will be rolled out through specially designated canteens set up across West Bengal. Adhikari added that liquor shops will not be allowed within one kilometre of school and temples.
