IIT Bombay suspends professor Doolla from deanship amid student suicide row

IIT Bombay has removed Professor Suryanarayana Doolla as Dean of Student Affairs amid the investigation into student Sahil Wakode's suicide. Director Shireesh B Kedare said that further action would depend on the ongoing investigation. Doolla was named in FIR after Wakode's parents alleged that their son was subjected to institutional harassment and caste-based discrimination.
