China has urged the World Trade Organization's dispute settlement body to set up a panel in a case it filed against India. In December, China alleged that India's support measures for its solar and IT sectors discriminate against Chinese goods and violate WTO rules. The request for a panel comes after bilateral consultations failed to produce a mutually agreed solution.
