Pilgrimage to the Mata Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir resumed on Sunday after being temporarily suspended due to heavy rush on Saturday. A shrine board official said, "The yatra has been resumed after temporary suspension due to a heavy rush at the Bhawan." Authorities had suspended the pilgrimage on Saturday after 39,000 devotees arrived in the afternoon.
