Nvidia announced a $2 billion (₹18,400 crore) investment each in optics technology firms Coherent and Lumentum to enhance its AI processors. The investments will support R&D, expand future capacity and operations and the development of US-based manufacturing capabilities. This comes a week after ​one of Nvidia's top customers, Meta, signed a $60 billion ($5.52 lakh crore) deal with AMD.
