Water may have formed 100-200 mn yrs after the Big Bang: Study

A study has suggested that water could've first formed when the first stars exploded in supernova explosions, only 100 million-200 million years after the Big Bang. The study, led by Portsmouth University's Dr Daniel Whalen, indicated that water emerged from cooled oxygen and hydrogen, by-products released by the supernova. "Water was probably a key constituent of...first galaxies," Daniel said.
