PM Narendra Modi condoled the victims of the Odisha government hospital fire and announced ex-gratia for their families. PM Modi said an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh would be given to the kin of the deceased, and the injured would receive ₹50,000. The fire that broke out in Odisha's Cuttack killed 10 patients and 11 staff members suffered burn injuries.
