Daily losses at India's state-run fuel retailers have eased to about ₹600 crore from nearly ₹1,000 crore before the first fuel price hike on May 15. This comes as Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum have raised petrol and diesel prices four times in 11 days. The cumulative increase in fuel prices has reached around ₹7.5 per litre.
