Ludhiana MC inspector arrested for ₹25,000 bribe

Punjab Vigilance Bureau arrested MC inspector Shubham from Ludhiana's Zone-B office after catching him red-handed accepting ₹25,000 bribe. He had demanded the amount to process ancestral property transfer for a complainant and his brothers following their father's death. A case under the Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered and investigation is underway.
