India-EU FTA to be 'game changer', says EU envoy

EU Ambassador Jean-Eric Paquet said the India-EU Free Trade Agreement, aimed to conclude by end of 2026 and take effect in 2027, would be a 'game changer'. Speaking at SIDM in New Delhi, he also highlighted the India-EU Security and Defence Partnership and called for stronger naval cooperation and maritime domain awareness sharing.
