Noida Airport's Swiss-origin CEO, appointed in 2020, yet to get security clearance

Swiss-origin Christoph Schnellmann, who was appointed CEO of Noida International Airport in 2020, is yet to receive the mandatory security clearance under India's aviation security framework. The security clearance is mandatory, as the CEO also acts as the security coordinator and handles classified security protocols and intelligence inputs. The airport's operations will begin in 45-60 days.
