RCB will reportedly release Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis ahead of the mega auction later this year. Maxwell bought for ₹14.25 crore in 2021, scored just 52 runs in 10 matches in IPL 2024. Plessis took on the role of the captain after Virat Kohli left the position. Reportedly, RCB are looking for a new captain now.
