A video from the swearing-in ceremony of new Kerala CM VD Satheesan showed Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra meeting a child who climbed onto the stage to greet them. Both leaders were seen smiling, shaking hands with the child and speaking to her. Congress leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge, Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar also attended the ceremony.
