After parts of north India witnessed sudden fog, people on social media speculated if it was linked to "acid rain" in Iran after Israel struck oil depots. However, Dr Mahesh Palawat from Skymet, explained that this happened as strong westerly winds from Balochistan and Central Pakistan swept across Thar Desert. These winds carried dust into skies of north India.
