The Kerala High Court dismissed appeals filed by Catholic Congress and Union government against Malayalam film 'Haal'. This came after makers disapproved CBFC's proposal to remove scenes, including consumption of beef biriyani and portrayal of police in bad light. The appeal alleged that it misrepresented religious themes, inter-faith relationships and scene showing forceful religious conversion.
