Adani Group and UAE-based International Holding Company (IHC) are planning to invest $11.5 billion in an aluminium project in Odisha, Reuters reported, citing a state government official. Both firms will reportedly hold a 50% stake in the venture, which will include a refinery, smelter, captive power plant and an aluminium manufacturing park. The project is expected to create 53,500 jobs.
