NASA-led Expedition 74 crew aboard the International Space Station (ISS) is studying new treatments for cancer and cartilage damage in microgravity. They are exploring ways to grow cartilage tissue and blood-clotting platelets in space. The team is looking into microgravity's effect on an anti-cancer drug and its molecular mechanisms. The research could help improve future medical care on Earth.
