Delhi Police has demanded death penalty for former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain and four others convicted in the murder of IB official Ankit Sharma during 2020 Delhi riots. "These people turned into butchers...Even after the victim died, they kept on the assault...There was no provocation," their prosecutor said. "Death penalty can't merely be based on injuries," the defence argued.
