BJP-led Mahayuti crossed the majority mark in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls with a lead in 119 out of 227 wards in Mumbai as the counting is still underway. BJP alone is leading in 88 wards while Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena is ahead in 31 wards. The Thackeray brothers (Sena-UBT and MNS) are leading in 70 wards, NDTV reported.
