'Peddi' director Buchi Babu Sana has issued an apology following criticism over the objectifying portrayal of Janhvi Kapoor's character. He said, "It was never our intention to objectify or disrespect any female character." He further said that changes would be made to some of the scenes featuring Janhvi, adding, "Every woman deserves to be respected, valued, and represented with dignity."
