Govt reduces LPG refill booking gap from 45 to 25 days in rural areas

The Centre has reduced the LPG refill booking interval in rural areas from 45 days to 25 days, bringing it in line with urban areas. The longer gap was introduced due to supply disruptions caused by West Asia conflict and Strait of Hormuz blockade. The decision follows relaxation in LPG supply curbs, allowing industries up to 50% of pre-crisis consumption.
