Sachin Makwana, an employee at a diamond trading company in Mumbai's Goregaon, stole diamonds worth ₹1.47 crore following his boss' criticism and sent a video to him apparently showing him discarding the stolen diamonds into a creek. He moved between 3 states and changed 13 vehicles to evade arrest. However, he was caught after his video helped police trace him.
