Bangladesh High Court issued a rule questioning Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) failure in ensuring a safe, harassment-free and gender-sensitive sporting environment for women cricketers following sexual harassment allegations involving ex-captain Jahanara Alam. HC asked BCB to explain why the failure should not be declared "unlawful" and directed it to implement anti-sexual harassment policy.
