Crude oil prices jumped over 6% amid rising tensions between the US and Iran. Brent crude rallied 6.10% to $95.89 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures surged 7.49% to $90.13 a barrel. Tensions rose after American forces took custody of an Iranian-flagged cargo vessel, Touska, following which Iran attacked US military vessels in the Sea of Oman.
