Around 5,000 Bangladeshis stuck at home after UAE cancels visas abruptly

Around 5,000 Bangladeshis who returned home on leave are stuck in their country after the UAE abruptly cancelled their visas without any warning or explanation, reports claimed. The Bangladesh government has taken up the matter with the UAE and has sought a review of the visa cancellations. Notably, around 12 lakh Bangladeshi nationals live and work in the UAE.
