Italy bans burqas, niqabs in schools

Italian government has approved a ban on burqa and niqab in schools. PM Giorgia Meloni said, "[Italy] introduced...limit of 30% in classrooms for students who don't adequately know Italian, plus tools to learn our language and a stop to burqas and niqabs in school." She described the measures as "common-sense tools that do not divide but really help to integrate".
