Insurance firm rejects dengue patient's mediclaim, says 'Your platelets are still 1 lakh'

A patient claimed that ManipalCigna Health Insurance rejected his mediclaim while he was being treated for dengue. Chirag Kothari said the company said the disease wasn't serious enough to require hospitalisation. "It said...your platelets are still 1 lakh.
