NASA's Psyche spacecraft captured images of Mars, including a rare crescent view, during its gravity-assist flyby of the planet. The spacecraft passed within 4,609 km of the Martian surface while travelling toward a distant asteroid. Psyche also photographed Mars' atmosphere, and the double-ring Huygens crater using its multispectral imager instrument during the slingshot manoeuvre.
