SEBI has barred registered entities from associating with unregulated financial influencers or 'finfluencers'. People giving investment advice without being registered as investment advisers or research analysts are breaking the law, SEBI chief Madhabi Puri Buch said. Regulated entities can't engage in transactions involving money or money's worth with unregistered individuals, SEBI said.
