BSE Sensex jumped 1.04%, closing at 76,991 points on June 24, after the markets lost over 900 points yesterday. The IT index rose 1.68%, while ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Infosys led the rally with a 1.78% jump. This comes after HDFC shortlisted three candidates for the chairman position. Meanwhile, Nifty was up 197.55 points or 0.83% at 24,021.65.
