A middle-aged patient, Biswajit Samanta, died at Kolkata's state-run RG Kar Hospital after allegedly being forced to walk to washroom in a critical condition. There was no washroom near the area where he was being treated, and a stretcher wasn't provided to take him to the second floor, his family alleged. Earlier, a man died in the hospital's malfunctioning lift.
