Punekars suffered a major power outage on Wednesday night due to a fault in the 400 KV Jejuri Tower Line of Mahapareshan or Mahatransco. The power disruption occurred around 9:45 pm. It affected electricity supply to approximately 4.57 lakh consumers in several areas, including Kothrud. The outage was caused by a breakdown in the transmission lines.
