Block deals in Indian listed startups near ₹27,000 crore in August

Block deal activity in listed Indian new-age tech startups touched nearly ₹27,000 crore ($2.77 billion) across around 17 major transactions involving nearly 13 companies in August 2026, Moneycontrol reported. The deals saw early venture capital (VC) backers and promoters cash out. A block deal involves large securities trades at a pre-agreed price outside the order book.
