Pralhad Joshi, who took charge as Union Education Minister after Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, holds a BA degree from KS Arts College affiliated with Karnataka University. He graduated in 1983 after completing his schooling at Railway School and New English School in Hubballi. Though his formal education is in arts, Joshi spent over three decades in public life and parliamentary affairs.
