SoftBank is in advanced talks to invest up to $25 billion in OpenAI, reported Financial Times. The investment could be part of a broader partnership that could see the Japanese conglomerate spend more than $40 billion on AI initiatives with the ChatGPT-maker. With this, SoftBank would end up becoming OpenAI's largest single investor, ahead of Microsoft's $13-billion investment.
