Chinese startup Kimi has launched a new AI model, K2.6, that has outperformed OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google's AI models in multiple benchmarks. The open source model offers GPT-5.4 level coding and can run continuously for 12 hours straight. K2.6 can run over 300 agents in parallel across 4,000 coordinated steps simultaneously and can work autonomously for five days.
