Hezbollah confirmed the death of its leader Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli strike on its headquarters in Beirut on Friday. Nasrallah, who led Hezbollah for more than three decades, "has joined his fellow martyrs", Hezbollah said, vowing to continue its fight against Israel. Hezbollah also said it would support Gaza and defend Lebanon and "its steadfast and honourable people".
