Madhya Pradesh High Court on Wednesday lifted a stay on the arrest warrant issued against TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee in a defamation case. The case was filed by former Indore MLA Akash Vijayvargiya claiming that Banerjee had called him a goon in 2020. The court while revoking the stay said it seems the petitioner has lost interest in the plea.
