SC praises voter turnout, no violence in WB's 1st phase of polls

The Supreme Court, while hearing a plea related to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) on Friday, praised high voter turnout in the first phase of West Bengal Assembly elections which took place on Thursday. "There have been no incidents of violence also," the top court stated. Notably, the first phase saw voter turnout of 92.88%.
